Kevlar Cover – Flame-Retardant External Protection Under Overpressure
The robust Kevlar cover provides an additional protective layer during continuous or temporary internal pressure. It prevents uncontrolled expansion or bursting of the connector – even in the event of explosions. The flame-retardant Kevlar material also ensures fire protection. The cover can be installed without tools, allowing for quick maintenance – ideal for safety-critical applications.

Support Rings – Internal Stability Under Vacuum and Movement
For vacuum environments, heavily compressed, or horizontally moving BFM® connectors, stainless steel or plastic support rings provide structural reinforcement. They stabilise the cross-section, reduce abrasion from product contact, and extend service life – particularly proven in tumbling sieves, vibration systems, or vacuum systems.

Seeflex 060ES – High-Pressure Resistant Material Reinforcement

It can be compressed to one-third of its length without narrowing the cross-section and is perfect for vertical movements, compressive processes, and wet cleaning.
