In many industrial applications, a flexible connector alone is not sufficient – especially when additional protection against heat, light, or pressure is required. For exactly these use cases, BFM® protective covers offer a well-designed, retrofittable solution that adds targeted safety functions to any BFM® connector.

Installation is tool-free using wing screws directly on the BFM® socket. This keeps your connector accessible and maintenance-friendly at all times without compromising on stability or tightness.

Kevlar Cover – Protection Against Pressure and Flames

The Kevlar cover has been specially developed to secure flexible connectors under overpressure, pressure surges, or explosions. The heat-resistant Kevlar material (up to 300 °C) prevents flames from escaping in an emergency and provides an additional safety barrier – ideal for sensitive process areas and Ex zones.

Light Protection Cover – Shielding for Light-Sensitive Processes

Light-sensitive products, such as in food or chemical production, require special precautions. The black light protection cover made of polypropylene blocks external light while allowing the use of spark detectors. It can be mounted without interfering with the system and can easily be removed when needed.
